Snuza has been developing baby movement monitors, using leading edge bio-sensory technology, since 2007. Our monitors are aimed at monitoring a baby’s breathing movement and alerting parents of any incidents where the breathing movement has stopped. Snuza is a young, innovative and dynamic company, and the first baby tech company to have successfully introduced a portable baby movement monitor and also the world’s first portable baby breathing monitor. The Snuza team consists of motivated and dedicated individuals driving the development and distribution of baby monitors that speak for babies who are unable to at their most vulnerable moment - when they're alone in their crib and unable to breathe.
Snuza® HeroMD baby monitor is a wearable device which attaches to your baby’s diaper and monitors your baby’s breathing. The HeroMD detects the slightest of breaths and will alert you if breathing is weak or less than eight breaths per minute. If the Snuza® HeroMD detects no breathing for 15 seconds it will vibrate in an effort to rouse your baby to resume breathing. Often the vibration is enough to rouse the infant and HeroMD will revert to monitoring mode. However after three vibration/rousing incidents, a Rouse Warning will alert you that breathing has stopped for 15 seconds on three occasions. If an additional 5 seconds of no breathing is detected a sharp audible alarm will sound. The Snuza® HeroMD can pick up external movements and it is therefore not suitable for co-sleeping or bed-sharing. It is advisable not to use the Snuza® HeroMD when the baby is in motion, e.g. in a car seat or a stroller.**The Snuza® HeroMD is not available in North America.
Snuza® Pico is 40% smaller than the Snuza® HERO, and vibrates after 15 seconds of no movement in an effort to rouse your baby to resume abdominal movement. This is then followed by a loud alarm if a further 5 seconds passes with no abdominal movement. The Snuza® Pico App allows for real-time view of all the parameters being measured – Abdominal Movement Rate, Skin Temperature, Body Position and even Fall Detection if your baby takes a tumble! The Snuza® Pico can pick up external movements and it is therefore not suitable for co-sleeping babies or when bed-sharing. It is advisable not to use the Snuza® Pico when the baby is in motion, e.g. in a car seat or a stroller. App – Available for iOS and Android
